So, a company I worked for used to have all its prospective employees meet with a psychologist before hiring them, to make sure everyone was compatible (or whatever). Well, after they hired me I had a follow up meeting with this woman to go over the details of her evaluation, where she told me that I was an "alien baby" (Annajan3 wasn't like the other kids...) Then she said she wouldn't put it on my written evaluation, so I didn't need to worry that other people would think I was strange. Right. Because if she told them I was an alien baby, they'd think *I* was strange. Regardless, being a stranger has always kind of fit, so here I am, stranger in a strange land. Current Mood: enervated |
